The Virtual Physician Lounge is a provincial telephone consultation service so patients through their primary care providers can consult with a specialist to discuss complex but non-urgent patient conditions.

LINK is available 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Monday – Friday, excluding statutory holidays

Let the SFCC Coordinator know that you are requesting a LINK specialist consult.

Benefits of using  LINK:

  • Provides  patients with access to specialist expertise while in the primary care setting;
  • Provides education and support  for primary care providers to manage a patient's conditions and;
  • Ensures more appropriate use of health system resources, including the  specialist's time .

  • HIV and HCV
  • Nephrology
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Palliative Care (available 24/7)
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry)
  • Urology
