As couples are usually very busy during this exciting time, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to check off a few more items on your To Do List.
This section will walk you through the process of ordering a Marriage Certificate, after you are legally married. Once you order a Marriage Certificate, you can also come back to this page to check the order status.
You will also discover that you do not have to request a legal name change to update your last name after being married. However, we do have some advice on how to go about updating your last name on important identification documents, such as your driver's license, passport and health card, if you choose to do so.
