PIP Quality Improvement Program (QIP)

The Pharmaceutical Information Program's Quality Improvement Program (PIP QIP) aims to identify more effective ways to use the system. The program also looks to improve data quality.

The Prescription Drugs Act states that every pharmacist is responsible for the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of the information submitted to the PIP.

As such, by working as a team, and recognizing that everyone is accountable, we can work together to protect, maintain and improve patient safety.
