Facility users associated under a recognized facility can appoint specific individuals to act as an Approver.
An Approver is responsible for:
- ensuring appropriate use of the PIP at the facility; and
- acting as the trustee of the information.
Approvers must be setup before any subsequent users at the facility register for access to PIP.
Once the Approver is setup for PIP, he or she will be able to securely authorize PIP access requests from users from within their facility using PIP Identity Management.
