Information available in the eHR Viewer
Laboratory Results
- The eHR Viewer houses approximately 98% of all laboratory results processed in Saskatchewan, including general laboratory tests, microbiology, pathology and transfusion medicine
- Data is received from all LIS sites in the province as well as from the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory (RRPL; formerly the Saskatchewan Disease Control Lab (SDCL)). Community laboratory sites do not submit data to eHealth.
- Data on some patient profiles exists back to 2011
Medical Imaging Reports
- The eHR Viewer displays medical imaging reports from the Provincial Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Available modalities include:
- Computed Tomography
- Mammography
- General Radiology
- Nuclear Medicine
- Ultrasounds
- Angiography
- Fluoroscopy
- Magnetic Resonance
- Positron Emission Tomography
- Data is received from all SHA RIS locations as well as some Community-Based Radiology (CBR) sites:
- Mayfair
- Prairie Skies Medical Imaging,
- Saskatoon Medical Imaging
- Guardian
- Associated Radiologists
- The eHR Viewer can display imaging associated to the Medical Imaging reports, for informational purposes
- The previous five years of data is available on patient profiles
Clinical Documents
- The eHR Viewer displays information submitted from the Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM), Fluency (3SHealth/mModal), and the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA). Data is received from all instances of SCM and Fluency
- Data categories include consults, discharge & transfer, operative/procedure reports, patient profile, and progress notes
- The previous five years of data is available on patient profiles
Hospital visits
- The eHR Viewer receives admission, discharge and transfer information from all Saskatchewan acute care centers with registration systems
- The previous three years of data is available on patient profiles
EMR visits
- As part of eHealth Saskatchewan's roadmap to improve the flow of data to and from Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and other clinical systems, the EMR Interoperability (EMRI) initiative will be offered to providers using Accuro and Med Access
- Accuro providers that are a part of EMRI can send EMR visit information to the eHR Viewer

Appointments
- The eHR Viewer receives surgical appointment information from the Saskatchewan Surgical Care Network (SSCN)
- A patient's lifetime history of surgical appointments in Saskatchewan maybe available on their profile
Medication information
- The eHR Viewer displays medication information from all community pharmacies through an interface with the Pharmaceutical Information Program (PIP)
- Additional information such as allergies, pharmaceutical notes, and contraindications are available
- The previous 25 months of data is available on patient profiles
Immunization information
- The eHR Viewer displays immunization information source from within the provincial application for public health, Panorama
- Immunizations administered by health care providers that are reported to Public Health are also available
- A patient's lifetime history of immunizations may be available on their profile
Chronic Disease Management information
- The eHR Viewer displays best practice indicators for Coronary Artery Disease, Diabetes, Heart Failure, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) collected for the Chronic Disease Management – Quality Improvement Program (CDM-QIP) by health care providers enrolled in the program
- Data is received from the SHA and SMA EMRs
- Observations dating back to 2013 may appear on the patient profile
