The Mental Health Services Act more understandable. It also promotes the consistent interpretation of the Act. This helps to ensure that people who need involuntary mental health treatment receive help in a lawful, responsible and respectful manner.
People who may find the Guide useful include persons with lived experience, families, managers, physicians and other health care providers, advocacy organizations, police officers and other interested people.
