eHealth Saskatchewan is proud to join health care organization across the country in celebrating Digital Health Week from November 12 - 18, 2018.

Every year, a week in November is dedicated to highlighting and sharing digital health successes and achievements in Canada, and right here in Saskatchewan. Digital Health Week aims to raise awareness about all of the important work taking place to advance health technology and evolve health care across the country.

Every day, more of Canada's health care system becomes digital.

Digital health enables health care providers to better treat and care for their patients.

Digital health is a private, secure, effective and efficient way of improving health care for you and your family.

eHealth is one of many organizations committed to transforming health care delivery by thinking digital.

Our mission is to connect people to information through innovative solutions. That's why our employees work hard every day to create, implement and manage innovative and electronic programs and services within the health care system.

One of the key roles of eHealth is to lead Saskatchewan's Electronic Health Record (EHR) planning and strategy. eHealth also manages many clinical programs that all work together to support health care providers and teams across the province in delivering the best possible care to patients. Those programs range from primary care to acute care and also include laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional systems that also support patient care and information sharing, include Telehealth, the Citizen Health Information Portal and the provincial Electronic Health Record Viewer.

eHealth would love to hear your thoughts, perspective and experiences with digital health. Please join the conversation throughout the week by following eHealth Saskatchewan on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You can also follow #ThinkDigitalHealth and visit betterhealthtogether.ca/digital-health-week to learn more.
