With a MySaskHealthRecord account, you can access your personal health information anytime. Only you can access your account. You can show your health information during appointments or choose to share access with someone you trust, such as a family member or caregiver.

Having your information at your fingertips makes it easier to:

• see your results without waiting
• prepare for appointments
• better understand and manage your health

Where your information comes from

Your health information comes from a variety of sources. Each source is shown in a different colour.

Medical records

• Clinical visit history – the last 3 years of inpatient, outpatient and emergency visits at Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) facilities
• Laboratory test results – the last 3 years of lab results from SHA facilities and provincial labs
• Medical imaging reports – imaging reports such as x-rays, MRIs and CT scans from SHA and some private radiology clinics
• Immunization history – immunizations received in Saskatchewan
• Prescriptions and pharmacy services – the last 25 months of medications and pharmacy services recorded in the Pharmaceutical Information Program (PIP)
• Clinical documents – reports and records from SHA, Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) and diagnostic services (dates vary by source)
• Surgical procedures – past and upcoming surgeries from 2018 onward
• COVID-19 certificate – vaccination dates and vaccines

Device-entered data

Information from connected devices or apps.

Self-entered data

Information you add, such as allergies, medical conditions, notes or health care directives, is stored securely in your account. 

Share information you add

Supported features allow you to share some self-entered data with your health care providers:

Health care directive – upload your health care directive and share with your doctor or care team using the web or mobile app.

When you’ll receive your results

When you first register, your past health information may take up to 24 hours to appear. After that, most results are added as soon as they’re available.

Some results are delayed:

• Pathology results are available after four days.
• Clinical documents are available after 48 hours. Historical clinical documents may not be available.

These delays allow time for review of sensitive results and follow-up, so you have the right support if needed.

Pathology results are tests done on samples from your body, such as tissue or biopsies. Clinical documents include reports written by your care team, such as consultation notes and discharge summaries.

Your information is safe and private

Your personal health information in stored securely in MySaskHealthRecord. eHealth Saskatchewan protects your information using security measures including firewalls and internal security policies. Security practices are updated as needed. Learn more about how your information is protected.
