Connected care is at the heart of what we do. Health information is stored in many systems across Saskatchewan.
Behind the scenes, eHealth Saskatchewan securely connects these systems so the right information is available to the right care team at the right time. This allows authorized health care providers to access information such as lab results, imaging reports, medications, immunizations, prescriptions and hospital visits, from anywhere in the province.
This means:
- faster access to information
- better-informed decisions
- care teams can work together more easily
Residents can also securely access their own health information through MySaskHealthRecord, an online portal that puts personal health information at their fingertips.
As a Treasury Board Crown corporation and one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, eHealth Saskatchewan employs more than 800 people in 20 communities and connects 433 health care locations across the province.
We also manage health cards, birth, marriage and death certificates, and health registries, making it easier for residents to access important records and services.
