Remote Patient Monitoring
What is Remote Patient Monitoring?
Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) helps you track a patient’s health from a distance.
This service uses TELUS Home Health Monitoring.
Your patients can use their own computer, tablet or smartphone to enter health information and answer questions as part of their personal monitoring plan. The data collected is shared with you so you can:
- track the patient’s progress
- respond quickly if help or adjustments are needed
- support the patient in managing their health

Critical incidents
What qualifies as a critical incident?
Critical incidents are issues that impact multiple users or the entire system, not individual access problems.
Examples of critical incidents:
- The core system is down, affecting all clinicians or an entire facility.
- Key functionality is unavailable across a facility or region.
- System-wide outage preventing patient care management.
Examples of standard support issues:
- One clinician can't access the system while colleagues can.
- Individual user account or permissions problem.
- Single device sync issue.
Report critical incidents immediately by emailing hhmoutage@telus.com. This email alerts the TELUS on-call engineer, product team, and support team right away so they know about the issue and can fix it quickly.
