Genealogy

Genealogy is the study of family history. eHealth maintains Saskatchewan records for births, deaths, marriages and stillbirths.

You can search at no cost for:

  • births registered in Saskatchewan more than 100 years ago
  • deaths registered in Saskatchewan more than 70 years ago
  • marriages registered in Saskatchewan more than 75 years ago

Before you search, please keep in mind:

  • Vital events are registered individually. Records are not linked to show family relationships.
  • Genealogical copies of death registrations don’t include cause of death.
  • Access to some records may be restricted by Saskatchewan legislation.
